Data agents answer questions in plain language by writing queries. Ask for weekly revenue by region and the agent works out the tables, writes the query, runs it and reads the result.
Next Monday the same question comes back with new dates and a different region, and the agent writes the same query again from scratch.
The question repeats. The query can too.
Where AgentCompile comes in
Questions that keep coming back become compiled jobs: the model doesn't need to write the query again, only the new details change. New questions, and ones that need real analysis, still go to your agent.
This sits close to what AgentCompile does today. If your data agent answers the same questions every week, we'd like to talk.
Why data questions repeat
Teams ask the same questions on a schedule. Revenue by region every Monday. Churn by plan at the end of the month. Signups by channel after every launch. The words drift a little each time, the dates always move, but the question is the same one.
Without AgentCompile
- The agent works out the tables and writes the query every time.
- Small differences in wording can produce different queries.
- Each weekly question costs a fresh round of reasoning.
With AgentCompile
- A question that keeps coming back runs compiled, with the new dates and filters.
- The same question gets the same query, every time.
- New and exploratory questions go to your agent, unchanged.
Consistency matters more in data than anywhere else. The same question should get the same answer.
Where we are
This is close to what AgentCompile does today: a data question is lookups, then an answer, and a repeated one has the same shape as the support jobs we measure. We haven't published results for data agents. If your agent answers the same questions every week, a pilot is how we'd find out together.
- Show us your agent's logs. We show you which jobs repeat, and how often.
- We prove each job on your history. You see how each one did before anything goes live.
- Wrap your model client. Known jobs run compiled; everything else goes to your agent as usual.
